The deer have many bad characteristics. They eat
your plants, and the vegetables grown in
your garden. They also carry ticks, which have
lime disease, so it's not safe to have
around your land. By having deer around your land
it is threatening your family with
horrible diseases. Some people feed the deer and
that attracts more deer to your house,
soon they will have about fifty deer running around
on your property and, with the deer
running around on your land its messes with the
watershed. The watershed is very
important. The deer pack down the soil so there is
more run off when it rains. When the
water runs it put less water in your wells. That
makes the water unhealthy; it puts dirt and
bacteria in the water that you drink.
Having one or two deer around your land isn’t much
of an issue, because they are pretty
animals, and it's always nice to be able to look out
and see them in your yard. But once you
have 10 or 20 deer at a time, that's when it
becomes a problem. They start walking over,
and eating your gardens, and the food you've grown.
It's understandable that they need
food, but it's also an annoyance to find out that
all the time you spent planting, watering,
and waiting for your garden to grow was a complete
waste.
Hunting is not bad as long as you are not doing it
for the wrong reason. If you're doing it
because you are going to eat the meat then it's ok.
If you were doing it purely for fun,
then you shouldn't do it because it's cruel. As
landowners, we don't have an issue with
deer; it's what they do to our yards and property
that we have an issue with. Hunting is
good because it keeps the number of deer down. When
there is too many deer they run in
front of the cars.
In some ways it'good that the deer are hunted. It
keeps the forests from getting over
populated and it also keeps our land, gardens, and
hard work from getting wasted, while
also helping lower the chance of getting diseases
that come from the ticks they carry. It's
sad that the deer that were killed have families,
and lives, and weren't purposely doing
anything to harm us, but in the end its better that
they're hunted.

I totally agree on the there can be too many deer on
your poperty at a time. Only a
few at a time is fine but if it gets too out of hand,
you need to do something about it.

I agree with your POV simply because you can spend a few
hundrend dollars setting
up a fense and save several hundred dollars down the
line in damage.

I agree with you because you shouldnt waste the deer
because thats good meat that
you use and eat and share with your family.
