Silent Auction Web Bid Form

How this works:  You enter detailed contact information, select items on which you wish to place a bid, then give us your starting bid and maximum bid.  During the live auction at the party on October 26, CI Board and Staff will act as your proxy.  If you are the starting high bid, your bid will be entered on the first line of the appropriate silent auction form.  As the auction progresses, we will "up" your bid in response to competition and according to the standard raise amount of $10, up to the amount of your maximum bid.

We will accept bids over the web until midnight on October 24, 2003.  On Saturday October 25, CI Staff will contact you BY PHONE to verify that you are actually the person who placed the bid; if we cannot talk with you, we will not accept your bid.  If you are the successful bidder on October 26, we will notify you on October 27 and arrange for payment at that time.

Note:  If we have more than one bid for an item over the web, the bidders will have already competed for the right to enter the starting bid at the party.  For example, if Person A bids $100 with a maximum of $200, and Person B bids $100 with a maximum of $150, A's bid of $160 ($10 over the opponent's maximum bid) will be entered as the starting bid at the party, and B will be out of the hunt.
